¬ GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Remembrance Day: Lest We Forget

Claremont will be holding four Remembrance Day Ceremonies TODAY in the Ridge Theatre.  Block 1: grades 9 & 10. Block 2: grades 11 & 12. We honour the service and sacrifice of the men and women who served our country, and those who continue to serve, in order to preserve our Canadian values and freedoms. Thank you to the men and women of our Canadian military: the soldiers, medics, equipment technicians, pilots, support staff and peacekeepers.

Poppies from the Royal Canadian Legion were distributed to students at the start of today’s block 1 classes. There will be donation bins at the entrance to the theatre as students and staff arrive for the Remembrance Day ceremonies. We encourage all students and staff to make a donation to the Legion Poppy Fund and wear a poppy proudly.
