Timetables for next year will be posted for all students in their Brightspace accounts TOMORROW (TUESDAY) at 3:00pm. If students require course changes, they can come to the main office to receive a course change form that can be filled out, signed by a parent, and then returned to the main office.
Claremont FTV Film Festival: Volume 3: June 19
You are invited to the Ridge Playhouse THIS FRIDAY June 19th at 7pm to a free event. It is the third edition of the Film & TV Class Film Festival! Come see the exciting and original work of the Film/TV students from the past semester on the big screen. There will be free mini chocolate bars and everyone is welcome. Claremont Athletics Banquet: June 17
The Claremont Athletic Banquet is THIS WEDNESDAY, 4:00 – 6:00pm in the Big Gym. There will be pizza, ice cream, draw prizes, and awards (MVPs for each team, Jr and Sr. Athletic Achievement, Jr and Sr Athletes of the Year, specialty awards, Leadership, Service, etc). There will be Alumni t-shirts for all grade 12 students in attendance.
Cost is $5 in advance (at the accounting office) and $10 at the door. (Parents are welcome to attend for free, unless they plan on eating)

Grad Yearbook Picnic: June 15
The grad yearbook picnic is TODAY, 2:00-4:00. Pick up your food coupons any time before 2:00 from Mrs. Waller in the Accounting office.
NEW – Save Your Digital School Accounts/Files
For All Grads: an important reminder that Grads will lose access to their email address & personal files (Google Classroom drives, etc) after FRIDAY July 10th! Grads should ensure that they transfer any/all files and info before this date!
NEW – Meeting for Grads Who Missed the UVic Grad Rehearsal
For all Grads who missed the grad ceremony rehearsal at UVic: there will be an important meeting TODAY @ lunch to review the important details. Please show up at the Theatre ASAP at the end of Block 2, as there is lots to cover!

Craft Fair: June 10-15
A group of YCI students are running their final day of their craft fair TODAY at lunch in the Student Lounge. All money raised will be donated to the Victoria Women’s Transition House. Thank you for your support.

The student group travelling to Peru next year is doing a Freezie Fundraiser TOMORROW (TUESDAY) at lunch in the Student Lounge. Come by to cool off and enjoy a treat. Thank you for supporting our student travellers.

BC Cancer’s “Lawrence’s Drive for a Cure” golf tournament is looking for student volunteers to help at on FRIDAY July 24th at Cordova Bay Golf Course.
Volunteer opportunities may include:

• Event setup & coordination
• On-course activities
Volunteer hours will be fully credited and reference letters will be provided

Student Drivers
Reminder to all students who are parking their vehicles in the student parking lot: you are required to be registered with the school. Permission forms and parking passes ($2 each) are available with Mrs. Waller in the Accounting office; students will be required to show their drivers licence, their insurance papers, and their ICBC Driver’s Abstract.
COMMUNITY NEWS
Peninsula Youth Clinic at Shoreline Medical
At this Youth Clinic, services are 100% free, confidential, and explicitly inclusive of all genders and sexualities! This clinic operates on THURSDAYS, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm, for Mental and Sexual Health education (there is no physician scheduled). Appointments with a physician are offered on FRIDAYS from 10:00 am – 12:00pm. Both telehealth and in-person appointments are offered for our physicians and counselors.
