NEW – Seniors Trip to Seattle

All Wolf Pack (Seattle trip) applicants and interested senior students: please attend a meeting TOMORROW (TUESDAY) at lunch in room 327.

 

Lost & Found Table

Lost & found items are set up on tables in the horseshoe hallway near the front office. Please check to see if something is yours!  There are also some winter jackets in the office, hoping to find their owners. Any unclaimed items will be removed THIS FRIDAY morning, March 15 and donated to charity.

A make-up bag was found last Friday.  Please come to the office to claim it.

 

Spartan Wear – Orders Due March 12

There are only two days left to buy Spartan Wear!!  If you would like to buy a Claremont Spartan hoodie, t-shirt, long-sleeved shirt, sweat pants, or lanyard, please pick up an order form at the Accounting office.  Orders and payments are due to Ms. Waller in the Accounting office TOMORROW (TUESDAY).  All sales are pre-order only, and clothing will arrive at school after Spring Break.

 

After School Homework Club

For all students who would like extra help in academic classes, help from Education Assistants is available four days a week (MONDAY-THURSDAY) for one hour after school in room 235. All academic subjects are welcome, but especially if you are struggling in Math & Science. This is open to all students in all grades.

¬ ATHLETICS

NEW - Badminton

Badminton practices are on TUESDAY and THURSDAY this week, 3:15-5pm in the big gym. If you are on the badminton team, these practices are mandatory!

 

Girls Rugby

Attention all Girls Rugby players: please return your player package to Mr. Belvedere by TODAY at lunch in room 134, at which point you will receive your jersey.

NEW - MATH CLUB

All students who signed up for TODAY’s University of Waterloo Problem-solving workshop, please come to room 133 at the beginning of Block 3, and please bring pencils, paper, and a calculator.

 

NEW - Model United Nations Club – Bake Sale March 12

The Model United Nations Club is hosting a bake sale fundraiser TOMORROW (TUESDAY) at lunch in the student lounge. There will be cookies, brownies, rice crispie squares, etc. Money raised will support the MUN Club's attendance at Vancouver conferences next year. Please bring your sweet tooth and a bit of change. Thank you for your support.

Magic Wand

Hey Grads! The Magic Wand is a non-profit organization that offers an inexpensive and eco-friendly alternative to grad outfits for any students. This is a great opportunity to borrow, rather than buy, a complete special outfit for graduation. The only cost to the student is a small fee which covers the cost of cleaning.  Please contact Elizabeth Suresus to view her selection of grad dresses, suits, tuxedos, shoes, and accessories.

Grad 2024 Fundraiser – Call for Online Auction Items

From April 11-26, the grads of 2024 are holding an online silent auction to support the Class of 2024's dinner & dance at the end of June. All proceeds from this auction will go to supporting the costs of this celebration.  We appreciate any donation: gift card, product/service, or a financial donation. Remax is holding their 25th annual Easter Egg Hunt supporting BC Children's Hospital!  Volunteers are needed for hiding the eggs, helping the kids find them, crafts, face painting, cupcake decorating, and set-up/take-down.

Location: Elk/Beaver Lake Park (South Shelter, Filter bed location)

Peninsula Youth Clinic

The Peninsula Youth Clinic is located at 2379 Bevan Avenue in Sidney and is open every THURSDAY from 5:30-7:30pm for help with any medical concern (physical, mental, and sexual health). Call 250-656-4143 to make an appointment with a physician or counsellor.  Services are 100% free, confidential, and explicitly inclusive of all genders and sexualities!
