NEW – Dr. Gunderson: June 16
For all Grade 11 and 12 students: Dr. Lisa Gunderson will be back in our Claremont Theatre THIS FRIDAY June 16th at lunch to be able to answer any further questions you might have based on her presentations on May 17th! Feel free to drop in to ask anything you might still be curious about. Hope to see you there!
Spring Break 2024 – Trip to France & Italy
Are you interested on going to Europe next Spring Break? Groups from Claremont and Stelly's will be going to France and Italy for 11 days and there is still time to join. We will be visiting Paris, Nice, Florence and Rome. If you are interested, please come to a meeting TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY), June 14th at lunch in the Learning Commons. Until then, if you would like additional information, please scan of one the posters scattered around the school or see Mrs. Laws in the office.

School Bus Registration For 2023-2024
Online school bus registration for next school year is open. To register, you will need your Student #. Registration link is on the Saanich School District website or HERE.
After School Homework Club
For all students who would like extra help in academic classes, help from Education Assistants is available four days a week (MONDAY-THURSDAY) for one hour after school in room 235. All academic subjects are welcome, but especially if you are struggling in Math & Science. This is open to all students in all grades.

Night of dance is THIS WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY night at 7pm. Tickets are on sale at lunch outside the theatre. $10 each (or only $7 for Spartan students).

Grad Yearbook BBQ – June 19
Reminder to Grads: the deadline to sign up for the Grad Yearbook BBQ is TODAY, so that planning can take place for food, etc. The BBQ is NEXT MONDAY June 19, 2:00-4:30pm and there will be multiple food trucks, games, a gift for all Grads, and a yearbook (for all those who purchased one). Although this event is FREE for all Grads, they still need to reserve/confirm tickets for this event with Mrs. Waller in our accounting office.
Volunteers Needed for Grad Events
We are needing volunteers for the following 3 Grad 2023 Events:
1. Grad BBQ: MONDAY, June 19th @ Claremont.
2. Grad Decorations and set up TUESDAY, June 27 @ Crystal Gardens.

Grad Fundraiser: Ongoing Bottle Drive
An easy way to support the 2023 Grad Class is by donating empty bottles and beverage containers throughout the school year until June at the Bottle Depot location at Glanford/Quadra. Account name is “Claremont Grad 2023.” Thank you for supporting the grad class of 2023.

Outward Bound is providing an exciting opportunity for Victoria-based youth to be part of a fully funded summer expedition! Students gain valuable social-emotional skills through challenging and experiential outdoor adventures that build self-esteem, social-emotional skills, an understanding of their resilience, and a deep connection to nature. iCan Bike is looking for volunteers for their summer camps July 10-14 (morning or afternoon shifts are available). Gain valuable experience working alongside youth with special needs in a fun, active environment. Camps are at Panorama Recreation Centre.
Cordova Bay Elementary PAC is looking for volunteers for a year-end bbq and fun fair on FRIDAY June 23, 4:00-7:00. Information & sign-up HERE.
The Kidney Foundation of Canada is looking for volunteers for its 15th Annual Kidney Walk BC & Yukon, downtown at Clover Point, on June 4. Volunteers are needed from 9am-2pm for many positions, including: cheerleading, attending the snack/beverage table, setting-up/taking-down the event, working the sign-in table, and others... Peninsula Youth Clinic
The Peninsula Youth Clinic is located at 2379 Bevan Avenue in Sidney and is open every THURSDAY from 5:30-7:30pm for help with any medical concern (physical, mental, and sexual health). Call 250-656-4143 to make an appointment with a physician or counsellor. Services are 100% free, confidential, and explicitly inclusive of all genders and sexualities!
